Turtle Bay
Turtle Bay Exploration Park is a fun, 300-acre cultural center located along the Sacramento River in Redding, CA, featuring a Museum and exhibits on local history, culture, art, science, and the environment, including a focus on the Wintu people. Sundial Bridge: A stunning pedestrian bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava, which also functions as a working sundial. McConnell Arboretum & Botanical Gardens: Located on the north side of the park, featuring diverse plants, trails, and garden areas. Paul Bunyan's Forest Camp: An outdoor area with playgrounds and water features. Wildlife Exhibits: Home to over 50 living animal species, offering opportunities for up-close viewing and learning.
